FAQ

What can I bring on a charter?

You are more than welcome to BYO food and beverages on most charters under 30 passengers. The Captain Paul II offers beverage service and catering for all size parties. Parties over 30 passengers will be required to purchase a beverage package per the laws of the Michigan Liquor License Control Commission. We recommend finger foods and simple meals. You are more than welcome to bring your own coolers, but we have coolers on board each yacht that you are welcome to use. The consumption of alcoholic beverages is for 21 years old+ only.

Is gas included in the price?

Fuel is included in all chartered rentals. Bare boat rental prices do not include fuel and should be considered separate or additional to the cost of the rental.

What happens if it rains or there is bad weather?

We go out rain or shine as all of our yachts can be fully enclosed. Safety is our utmost concern and we rely on the USCG advisories and warnings to gauge whether or not to disembark from the docks and the marina.

Do you refund charters?

All charters are nonrefundable. In the event that a charter is canceled due to weather, another day can be scheduled. Special events will be handled on a case by case basis

What do you recommend that we bring on a charter?

Depending on what you have planned and what time a day you are going out, we recommend; sunscreen, a sweatshirt or cover up, sunglasses and anything else to make your trip more enjoyable.

What do I need to book a charter?

A signed contract and a 50% nonrefundable deposit hold the date and the yacht requested. Payment in full is required within 7 days prior to the charter unless other arrangements are made.
